All schools should have their outdoor and indoor equipment including PE equipment checked annually by a competent person usually an outside contractor that provides a certificate of inspection.
Play equipment in nurseries or early years should be checked daily and recorded in their checklists.
The play equipment should be checked formally by a member of the site team termly and recorded.
