The course is designed to inform Schools of their role as Client under the CDM regulations. Also how to manage contractors working on a school site.

  • Overview of CDM regulations 2015
  • Schools duties as “Client” under CDM regulations
  • Managing contractors
  • Planning work
  • Selecting contractors (assessing competency)
  • Pre-work commencement (exchange of information, risk assessments, method statements, permits to work)

  • The course is designed to provide the information to enable delegates to fulfil their duties under the CDM regulations.
  • To enable delegates to implement contractor management systems at their school.
